9Marks Explained : A Letter From Mark Dever

Encouragement for those struggling with same-sex attraction

Print

Vaughan Roberts is well known in British Evangelical circles for his strengths as one of the most gifted and faithful writers, preachers and church leaders in the land.

In a recent interview with Julian Hardyman Vaughan talks about how he has sought to live a godly life while struggling with same-sex attraction, and why he has decided to share his struggles more widely.

I pray that as he becomes known not only for his great strengths, but now also for a weakness, that the strength and wisdom of God will be made all the more evident in and through him, and that he would be a great encouragement both to those who struggle with similar tempations, and with those who seek to help them with those struggles.

Great article and great man of God. It's encouraging to see open and honest interviews like this where people give the glory to God and are on the road to sanctification instead of saying it's too hard and therefore God mustn't want us to do this (despite His Word saying the opposite). Thanks for sharing this wonderful and encouraging article.

Thanks for your great post also thanks for that your giving us great information. The environment got severely effected by it but the government simply doesn’t care. They should prepare or give further assistance to those who are affected by this. Keep posting.
