9Marks Explained : A Letter From Mark Dever

Journal of Biblical Counseling Back Online, for Free

In case you haven't heard, CCEF has brought back their Journal of Biblical Counseling. It's now free online.

This is an excellent resource for pastors that provides biblical and practical reflection on church-based, Christ-centered counseling.

Of special note is a new article by David Powlison on "The Pastor as Counselor." I'd commend both the article and the whole journal to pastors who want to grow in counseling their people and equiping their people to counsel.

It sounds like this is going to be a wonderful opportunity for any pastor who should feel the need to look into this wonderful journal. I hope that it does well and I'm glad that it's free.

All pastors could use big money now and then and by offering a journal they may be able to find the resources that they have been looking for.
