T4G was amazing. I don’t know anyone who was there who wasn’t deeply encouraged. It’s hard to pull out highlights of what seemed like 3 days full of highlights, but a few things special delights:

·      The singing.Yikes. The voices, the words… it was like heaven. I know that’s cliché, but we have clichés for just such a purpose.

·      CJ Mahaney’s sermon for discouraged pastors. The “but not” of II Corinthians 4:8-9 is still ringing in my ears.

·      The testimonies.These reminders of the gospel’s power to save anyone breathed fresh wind into my sails. Then Thabiti’s message put exegetical feet on all the testimonies.

·      Ligon Duncan’s messageon I Kings 19. I don’t know what to say, but if you haven’t listened to it, you should go do it right now.
