Plant! Church Planting Conference - Check It Out
We're excited to be a part of this great conference (March 24-26, 2011 in Glen Mills, PA).
Plant! is about vision and action and ideas outside the box. Sovereign Grace Ministries is gathering church planting thinkers and doers from Acts 29, PCA, 9Marks, and the Southern Baptist Convention for conversation across the lines about planting and building churches on the gospel.
Main Speakers: Mark Dever, CJ Mahaney, Darrin Patrick, and Dave Harvey.
Breakout speakers include: Tim Witmer (PCA & Professor at Westminster Theological
Seminary), Mike McKinley (9Marks/Guilford Baptist Church), Daniel Montgomery (Acts 29), Craig

I spent 10 years on an SGM church plant that did not go so well. I hope they are having a session or breakout session on “How NOT To Do A Church Plant.” I know 2 pastors and about 10 families that could all take turns teaching that one.
I think it would be a wonderful thing to see a SGM Church here on the North Side of Columbus, Ohio!!

I couldn't agree more. My wife and I live in Worthington and are praying for a church that is reformed in doctrine but embraces the power of the Spirit. Feel free to shoot me an email if you know of anything that fits that bill in Columbus, or if you hear of something starting.
