By - Tim Keller's King's Cross is great. I read it on an airplane and then gave it to the unbeliever sitting behind me. He read it for the next three hours. That's how you know Keller's good.

I had breakfast with a brand new believer this morning. It made me smile to hear how much theology he had figured out on his own just by beginning to taste the gospel. He said three things in particular:
- I know that God must have saved me becuase I never would have saved myself.
- One of the most amazing things about the church is the way that people love each other. You never see that anywhere else in the world.
- God has given me far more than I deserve!

A couple of good looking conferences and events coming up:
- Acts 29 has a one-day training event in the Washington DC area on March 31... The Church Sent and Sending, Not the Church Settled
- Advance 2011 in Raleigh on May 4-5... Gospel: Recovering the Power That Made Christianity Revolutionary.
- Screeching Weasel and Face to Face have released/are about to release new albums and are touring. Good news for those of us who like their punk roock old and out of retirement.

Face to Face! I remember listening to "The Big Choice" cassette tape over and over again when I was a kid! Glad to hear that they are back together.
Recently I was over at a friend's house for Pancake Tuesday, and his dad (Ross Campbell) started talking to me about my tattoos, and asked if I ever heard of a guy named Michael McKinley! He reckons that we'd got along very well.
