Pastors have many jobs. Chief among them is to teach what accords with sound doctrine (Titus 2:1). But how does “sound doctrine” influence anything other than what gets said during sermons and Sunday Schools? How does it shape a church’s and a pastor’s philosophy of ministry? The goal of this 9Marks Journal is to answer that last question. We want to connect sound doctrine to the church—covering everything from membership interviews to church budgets. We pray it will be useful to you and your ministry.

因此，作为牧师，你应该鼓励成员彼此分享和面对艰难的故事，生活的经历，以及在民意调查数据和团体历史中呈现出来的清楚模式。所有这些都会帮助他们在学习圣经时增长智慧。但在此之前和之后，以及任何时候，都要打开圣经，确保只有它决定着你们教会所信的教义。
