Christ is unshakably committed to his Church—not a building but a people saved by Jesus’s blood and set apart for His purposes. Our conference theme is drawn from Christ’s undying promise in Matthew 16:18: “On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Messages from John Piper, Michael Reeves, Jonathan Leeman, David Mathis, Steven Lee, and Lewis Guest, IV will unpack Christ’s supreme lordship over His Church, the nature of the Church as a new humanity and members of God’s household, the unique priority of the Church to reveal God’s manifold wisdom, the glorious calling of Church leaders to shepherd God’s people, and the urgent mission of the Church to make disciples until Christ’s return.
